| 内容記述 | 19?28歳の健康な成人男女43名を対象にして、喫煙習慣や運動負荷が味覚に与える影響について検討した。味覚検査は濾紙disc法を用いて行い、鼓索神経支配領域（舌前方）、舌咽神経支配領域（舌後方）、大錐体神経支配領域（軟口蓋）上の３部位における４基本味質（甘味、塩味、酸味、苦味）の味覚感度について測定した。女子学生の味覚閾値は男子学生に比べて低く、識別能が鋭い傾向を示した。男子喫煙者の味覚閾値は非喫煙者に比べて高い値を示し、識別能が鈍い傾向にあったが、統計的な有意差は認められなかった。女子学生の運動負荷後の味覚閾値は運動負荷前に比べて低い値を示し、運動負荷により味覚識別能が高まることが分かった。女子学生のスポーツ活動歴と味覚識別能との間には有意な関係は認められなかった。運動負荷により味覚感受性が高まったことから、味覚障害に対する運動療法の可能性が示唆された。The aim of this study was to determine the effects of smoking and exercise habits on taste sensitivity. The study subjects were 43 healthy male and female university students aged 19 to 28 years. Employing the paper-disc method, the sensitivity of taste for 4 basic tastes (i.e., sweet, salty, sour and bitter) in 3 areas served by the chorda tympani (i.e., the front part of the tongue, area 1), the glossopharyngeal nerve (i.e., the back of the tongue, area 2) and the greater petrosal nerve (i.e., the soft palate, area 3) were studied. The taste sensitivity in female students was higher than in males for sweet and salty taste (p<0.05) in area 1, for bitter taste (p<0.01) in area 2 and for salty taste (p<0.01) in area 3. The taste sensitivity of male smokers tended to be lower than that of nonsmokers. The taste sensitivity of female students increased after exercise tolerance but no significant association was observed between a sport-activity history and the taste sensitivity. These results demonstrate that it is important to study the possibility of exercise therapy for taste disorders. | |||||||||||||||
