| 内容記述 | The following lines enumerate the results of our experimental investigations in the drugsensitivity of dysentery bacilli and certain other disease germs, examined by means of so-called "Sensitivity Tablets" (Roskilde). (I) In the cases of dysentery bacilli, no sensitivity was observed in reference to penicillin (P) and sulfathiazole (ST), while to chloromycetin (CM), aureomycin (AM), terramycin (TM) and streptomycin (SM), sensitivity to a certain degree was observed. It must be noted, however, that in the case of Bacillus Komagome B III.(Group B Type II, after international classification), obtained from a patient prescribed with CM and AM for therapy, and in the case of Bacillus Kawase (Group B, Type Ma), extracted from a patient not treated with SM and AM, the experiments revealed perfect resistance against these drugs. (2) E. coli and Bacillus typhi showed no sensitivity to P and ST, while to other antibiotics, sensitivity was observed, especially a) the former to SM, and b) the latter to CM. (3) Staphylococcus (209 P) as well as Streptococcus showed no sensitivity to ST, and the latter was also stable to SM. Both had the highest value of their sensitivity to CM. (4) Actinomyces had a far stronger sensitivity to all these drugs than any of the above-mentioned germs, with the data of (Pi) to TM, (14) to P, CM and AM, and (ア) even to ST as well as to SM. (5) The sensitivity test by means of this "Sensitivity Tablets" (Roskilde) is simple and convenient, while at the same time fairly exact data may be expected. The authors are of the opinion that in treating an infectious disease, the indication of the efficacious drug should be determined by means of methods similar to the above, which should he performed whenever possible before medication is to commense. | |||||
