The length and area of movements of the center of gravity (COG) in children with developmental delay were significantly larger than those of normal children during the eyes open testing. (p＜0.05) In the root mean square and average frequency of COG, no statistical was observed difference between children with developmental delay and normal children. The observations suggest that the immaturity of the integration of visual and proprioceptive systems might be present in children with developmental delay.
