We planed and taught the course of Health Sciences III in 2002. This subject has a unique purpose in that students study the ethics of workers engaged in the health care system. We used 3 audiovisual aids, including several cases and combined subgroup learning, a group discussion and whole group learning to achieve the purpose and to deepen their understanding. The subgroup learning and the group discussion contained elements of role play and were new exercises in our school. Althoug we could not develop their abilities in problem solving dealing with ethical issues fully because they did not have sufficient time to refer to the literature in the exercises, we achieved most of the goals of the teaching
