Highly frequent subclinical neuropathy, motor dominant in gastric cancer, was proved by markedly delayed nerve conduction velocities in the patients with gastric cancer as well as primary hepatoma, and the literature survey turned out that this paper is the first systemic report of carcinomatous neuropathy in primary hepatoma. 2. The serum folate level was 2.4 ± 1.5 ng/m? in gastric cancer and 1.7 ± 1.0 ng/m? in primary hepatoma, and both were significantly low as compared with the normal value of 7.6 ± 2.4 ng/m? . 3. The coexistence with delayed nerve conduction velocity and low serum folate level was almost constant at a very high frequency in gastric cancer and primary hepatoma. 4.
