Initially, the infectious wave occurred in early April in the North American area such as Mexico, United States and Canada. In Japan, the first case was registered in early May. Afterward, the number of confirmed cases increased. From this pandemic influenza, we have learned much regarding the epidemiological and individual controls for the novel infectious disease.
